They are instructed to rush to any room whenever "Dr. Howard, Dr. Fine, Dr. Howard" is heard over the loudspeaker. They use a variety of vehicles and animals to rush up and down the corridors. They end up shooting the loudspeaker that dies with a "Ohhh ... they got me!" Of course they run amok throughout the hospital, and finally operate on Dr. Graves himself to retrieve a safe combination that he accidentally swallowed during the excitement.

The publicity still shown here has Moe playing the bass fiddle, but in the actual film, Curly played it. Moe held a baton and played a mouth harmonica, which Curly made him accidentally swallow when he said, "That was sure HOT Moe!" and slapped him on the back.

The boys are firemen who use horse-drawn fire trucks. A salesmen named Fred Reardon tries to convice the fire chief to buy motorized trucks, which he turns down. Reardon tries to fight back by planting dynamite on a fire engine. A duck consumes some of the gun powder and lays an egg that sets the fire station ablaze. The Stooges show up to put out the fire and save the day.

This classic starts off with The Three Stooges in court being accused of stealing chickens in Mrs. Throttlebottom's chicken coop. Justice does not prevail because the Stooges are found innocent and are free men. Now free, Moe, Larry, and Curly cause more mischief by fishing for their supper.....in a fish tank in front of a pet store. They get caught by a police officer, and when hiding in Bilbo the Magician's magic box fails, they steal Casey the plumber's truck and make a get away. Stopping at a mansion, the butler comes out and tells the "plumbers" they are an hour late and need to get to work right away. Before they can explain they're not plumbers, the same police officer who was chasing appears in sight, so they quickly inform the butler they are "the best plumber to ever plumb a plum" while they rush into the mansion before the police officer catches them. For the rest of the short, total mayhem ensues as the Stooges try to be good plumbers, but in lovable Stooge fashion, fail miserably. When her husband comes home, he sees the Stooges and chases them outside, where they hide in a line of people. Unfortunately for them, it's a line to sign up for the Army! While in training, they march in the opposite direction than their supposed to, run away from the husband, hide in bayonett practice dummies, and their commanding officer does bayonett practice on them! Then, when their on the battlefield, they accidentally give themselves a dose of laughing gas and get captured by the enemy.

After a successful (if unusual) tooth-pulling, the Stooges escape and take refuge in Ajax's car, where he immediately disguises them as children and introduces them to his wife as the new refugees. In the end, however, it is Ajax chasing them out again... with a large ax.

After some failed attempts to get a picture of Prince Shaam and his girlfriend the stooges really mess up on the delivery of the turkey and are fired. After trying to sneak for a picture one last time they find out that Prince Shaam and the head butler are crooks that are just trying to get the girlfriend's money. So the stooges take a picture of them and a wild fight goes on. The stooges win and are successful reporters. Plus, the girlfriend wants to marry Curly!

The boys begin the short as workmen getting chewed out by their boss. Fleeing from an unsuccessful attempt to repair a radiator, they end up in a recording studio, where Curly (in drag) is mistaken for an opera singer by a woman who sees the boys lip-synching to a recording made earlier in the day by Alice Andrews (Christine McIntyre). Invited to sing at a party that night, the boys bump into Signor Spumoni, who knows they are fakes, and Alice, who wants to win a job as a singer on her own to impress her father. Spumoni exposes the boys as fakes, and everyone realizes it was Alice who was the singer they were hearing. As the boys get what is coming to them, Christine's character is rewarded with the job. A good performance from Curly, considering he was not in the best of health when this short was made

They behave themselves for about two minutes. The short is capped off by a horrendous pie fight. Good line: "Why, you act as if the sword of Damacles was hanging over your head!" This was marred by being Curly's last; he suffered a crippling stroke and was forced to retire. Shemp replaced him two months later in FRIGHT NIGHT.
